Adult Fiction: Kid’s Books: Audio Books:

If you’re interested in any of the books pictured above, we can do one of two things to ensure that you get a copy.
Option 1: We can put your name on a request list (first come – first served).
Option 2: We can request the book from another library.
Either way there is no way to guarantee which option is faster over the other. Having said that, you’re more likely to receive it quicker at your regular library. The circulation staff will be glad to further assist you with any requested items. Thank you.

I’ve noticed that sometimes the only copy of a book or DVD I want is located on the Bookmobile. Requests cannot be placed on Bookmobile material, but if there’s something on there you want you can look at the Bookmobile schedule on the http://www.readokaloosa website and meet the truck at any of its stops to access the material on it. It travels throughout the county and is in each city at specific locations once a week. Make sure you bring your library card if you want to check something out!

I don’t think many people are aware of the Bookmobile. It’s a great service for people who wouldn’t otherwise have access to books, audio books, movies, etc. Great information and advice, Mary. Thanks!
